ADA - NetZeroPak

ADA® introduces a new geometric syntax and structural logic for packaging.

It begins with a planar cellulosic surface and with the object it has to protect. The object is not placed into a predefined box.
Its geometry, dimensions and physical requirements determine a corresponding structure.

Every object generates its own ADA®.
Two dimensions become three. Structure emerges from folds, relations and constraints. Material is placed only where function requires it. The result is an adaptive, parametric and made-to-measure packaging structure that protects the object through its own geometry, without fillers and without unnecessary space around it. Its self-supporting structure carries external loads without transferring them to the object it protects.

ADA® can change continuously without losing its identity. Externally familiar, internally different every time, it reduces volume, material and weight while preserving the functions the packaging must perform.

But the physical object is only the visible expression of ADA®. Its geometry is also information. It can be described, parameterized, verified, compared, manufactured and measured. What exists in 3D can return to 2D as production data; what is produced can return as evidence and become new knowledge.

This is where ADA® becomes the origin of something larger: a data-driven architecture in which physical and digital domains are different expressions of the same geometry.

Its name comes from adaptive and becomes the prefix of the modules that derive from it.

Always ADA®. Never the same ADA®.
